Remote Sensing & Tectonic Geodesy Lab

Welcome to the Remote Sensing & Tectonic Geodesy Lab at ASU!

In RaTLab, we conduct interdisciplinary research covering wide spectrum of geophysical, hydrological and industrial processes, such as seismic and aseismic faulting, induced seismicity, volcanism, landslide, land subsidence, coastal evolution and sea level rise. However, we are not restricted to the Earth and expand our research to entire solar system.

We work to develop innovative tools and methods to enhance space-, air- and ground-based observations of crustal processes. In our research we substantially borrow from other science and engineering fields, such as signal processing, data mining, inverse theory, artificial intelligence, and numerical/analytical modeling techniques.
